Terms of Service.

Closet Theory is a personal-styling service that catalogues your wardrobe, builds a digital twin from your body measurements, and recommends outfits and pieces tailored to you. By creating an account, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least sixteen (16) years old to use Closet Theory. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed these terms with you.

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe. We are not liable for activity on your account caused by credentials you have shared or failed to protect. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorised use.

The photos, measurements, garment details, preferences, and feedback you upload remain yours. You grant Closet Theory a limited licence to host, process, and analyse this content solely to operate the service for you — for example to build your digital twin, recommend outfits, and improve your experience over time.

We will only use your content to train or improve our underlying models if you have explicitly opted in through the in-app privacy settings. That setting can be turned off at any time.

Outfit recommendations, body-shape inferences, and styling notes are generated by automated systems. They are suggestions, not professional advice. You decide what to wear and what to buy. We are not liable for outcomes that depend on individual taste or fit.

You agree not to:

• Upload photos of anyone who has not consented to be photographed.
• Use the service to harass, defame, or impersonate another person.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the service or the AI models behind it.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute any output of the service without our written permission.

Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not pro-rate refunds for partial periods unless required by law. Trial users can leave at any time.

The Shopping tab lets you buy garments and accessories directly through the app. Placing an order is a separate sale contract between you and Closet Theory. Prices are shown in INR and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout. Payments are processed by a licensed third-party payment gateway; we never see or store your full card, UPI, or bank account details. Orders, delivery timelines, cancellations, returns, and refunds are governed by our Shipping, Cancellation & Refund Policy.

We work hard to keep Closet Theory available, but we don’t promise uninterrupted service. We may pause features for maintenance or change functionality with reasonable notice.

You can delete your account from Profile · Privacy. We can suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, infringe another person’s rights, or pose a security risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Closet Theory’s total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the fees you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email and will require fresh acceptance before continuing to use the service.
